Banka, dünyanın önde gelen iklim değişikliği ile mücadele platformlarından Karbon Saydamlık Projesi’nde (CDP) yer almaya devam etmiştir. Şekerbank’ın sera gazı emisyonları dönemler itibariyle karşılaştırmalı olarak Kapsam-1, Kapsam-2, Kapsam-3 olarak raporlanmaktadır. Kapsam 3 emisyonlarından kaynaklanan, ulaşım verileri, atıklar, debit kartlarının neden olduğu emisyonlar, nakliye kaynaklı emisyonlar ve evden çalışma kaynaklı emisyonlar hesaplanmıştır.

Şekerbank maintains its high-level commitment to combating climate change and has been measuring its carbon emissions since 2010 to identify areas for improvement. The Bank continues to participate in the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), one of the world’s leading climate change platforms. Şekerbank’s greenhouse gas emissions are reported in a comparative manner across periods as Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3. Emissions from Scope 3 include transportation data, waste, emissions from debit cards, transportation-related emissions, and emissions from remote work.
