Our subsidiary which YEO Teknoloji holds 51% share, DEFİC Globe Enerji A.Ş. (Defic Globe), signed a shareholder agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Co. Ltd. (SEP), one of China's leading energy investment groups, which has energy production facilities with capacity of 22.400 MWh as of 2023 in many countries around the world, not only in Turkey and Europe, in order to jointly make investment of two separate solar power plants with a total capacity of 129 MWp owned by our subsidiary.
As per the the agreement, which will come into force after the approval of the Romanian Competition Authority, 75% of the subsidiaries' shares will be transferred to SEP, while 25% will be kept by Defic (Defic has the option to increase its own 25% shares to 35%).
Our scope under the agreement is to execute turn key construction of solar power plant including the engineering services, construction of high voltage substation, and installation of energy transmission lines for the plants.
While Our company targeting 1 GW capacity in renewable energy sector until 2030 has gained another step on the way to be global player with capability of different project in different countries under the investor perspective, on the other hand this agreement will make great contribution to growth in construction services.
