We announced on 15.11.2024 and 19.11.2024 that DEFIC group companies (hereinafter referred to as Defic Globe), in which our Company holds 51% shares, signed an EPC term sheet with Scatec for the construction of 2 solar power plants with a total capacity of 190 MWp in Romania. The investment of power plants will be made together with Scatec and Defic Globe.
Scatec group will have a 65% share and Defic Globe will have a 35% share in the projects to be constructed in the counties of Dolj and Olt in the south of Romania.
Both of the projects were awarded to benefit from the Contract for Difference (CFD) tender organized by Opcom, the Romanian energy market operator, in December 2024. Accordingly, these power plants were entitled to sell energy at the fixed price set in the tender for 15 years.
Our company, which targets 1 GW capacity in renewable energy by 2030, is on its way to becoming a global player with its offices in different geographies of the world and its ability to do business, while also making significant contributions to its growth in contracting services.
