oda_ExplanationTextBlock| | Due to the Company's relatively low consolidated leverage and the high proportion of equity within its asset structure, inflation accounting adjustments, which are not directly related to the Company's consolidated operating income, resulted in an expense of TRY 695,332,365, recognized under Net Monetary Position Gains/(Losses) in the income statement. In addition, a deferred expense of TRY 1,347,814,528, largely arising from inflation accounting, was recognized, together with depreciation expense of TRY 500,196,707, also attributable to inflation accounting and included within Cost of Sales and General Administrative Expenses. Furthermore, during the second quarter, a transaction was completed that made a positive contribution to the Company's consolidated liquidity. Denarius Pumping Services de Venezuela, a subsidiary of our associate Çan2 Termik A.Ş., held a receivable from Venezuela's state-owned oil company PDVSA (Petróleos de Venezuela, S.A.) totaling USD 35,870,622, comprising USD 24,800,063 in principal and USD 11,070,559 in interest. The receivable was evidenced by a promissory note and had already been recognized on Denarius Pumping Services de Venezuela's balance sheet as of the date its shares were acquired by Çan2 Termik A.Ş. The receivable was sold in the secondary market for USD 6,569,802. As a result of the difference between the carrying value of the receivable in the financial statements and the sale consideration, a one-off expense of TRY 1,758,470,799 was recognized. In contradiction between the Turkish and English versions of this public disclosure, the Turkish version shall prevail. | ||||||||
